Graphics & Soundtrack
Treasures of Aztec has been designed from a mobile-first standpoint, so there is not much space for elaborate graphics; however, PG Soft has done a great job of creating fun and engaging icons set against the backdrop of giant wooden temple doors.
Rather unusually for an online slots game, there is a fast-paced, upbeat soundtrack playing out with hints of panpipes and birdsong amongst the rhythms. We found it highly enjoyable at first, but it became a bit intrusive after a while thanks to the same recurring melody. Still, it makes a nice change from the generic sounds that so many developers prefer to use.

Like all games in the Pocket Soft series, Treasures of Aztec has been designed for easy and intuitive play across all devices:

Increasing multiplier
Treasures of Aztec is packed with a surprising number of bonuses, but the one that is really going to grab players’ attention is the increasing multiplier feature. At the start of every paid spin, the multiplier below the reels is set to 1x; however, it increases by 1x with every winning combination and cascade. There is no limit to the multipliers - as long as the cascades keep delivering wins, the number keeps rising.

Wilds
Wild symbols don’t appear on reel one, so they can’t create winning combinations on their own; however, they can stand in for all other game symbols except the scatter to help you towards cash payouts.
Wilds on the Way
The wild symbols have another role to fulfil in the intriguing Wilds on the Way feature. Any symbol can appear with a silver frame around it. If this symbol is involved in a win, the frame turns gold and the symbol will switch to any random symbol on the paytable. If this new symbol is then involved in a win, it will be replaced by a wild symbol, potentially creating even more wins.

There is also a free spins bonus round. You will need to land four golden scatters to trigger the feature and receive 10 free spins. Every additional scatter above the four needed to start the bonus brings another two free spins, which can be retriggered. Throughout the bonus round, every win adds another two to the multiplier.
