Ashoka the Great

Ashoka the Great ruled an empire that stretched from modern-day Afghanistan across Pakistan and India to what’s now Bangladesh. His reign lasted from 268 to 262 BC, and he devoted much of his life trying to encourage the spread of Buddhism. Temple of the Tiger Prince
