There is lots to like about this slot, starting with its great looks and atmospheric appeal. The base game is also entertaining, but it is the bonus features that are the major draw.

Bonus appeal

The expanded and transforming wilds can really boost the payout potential, as can the free spins bonus with its extra multiplier values.

The downsides

We do like slots with a free spins bonus that can be retriggered, however, and sadly this is not the case with Cai Shen 168. We were also extremely disappointed by the low maximum bet, which won’t satisfy medium rollers let alone those seeking the excitement of bigger bets.
