Layout

Like most of our other slots, Mayan Marvels is made up of five reels with three rows each, laid out in a standard 5x3 configuration. There are up to 15 paylines that can be selected in series.

As mentioned above, a wide range of prizes will be awarded to lucky players for instances of three-, four- and five-of-a-kind adjacent symbol matches from left to right on an active payline.

In total there are 12 symbols, 10 of which are regular sorts and with the remaining two being special types that award wild and free spin functionality. All prizes amounts are multiplied by the line bet.

Prize Table

Unsurprisingly, the most valuable regular game symbol is the Mayan Marvels logo. Finding five of these on an active payline will award a generous maximum prize of x500 the line bet.

Next up is the red jewelled stone head, which offers a slightly smaller top prize of x450.

Way down at the other end of the table are the '10' and 'J' symbols, the least valuable in the game, which both award the same possible range of prizes up to a maximum of x100 each.

Not to worry, though, as with numerous winning opportunities and some helpful special features, even these smaller amounts can up to something much bigger with perseverance and continued play.

Free Spins

First among the special symbols is the free spins icon, which as its name suggests awards a number of free spins to the player. Finding three or more of these on an active payline will start the free spins round, where players have a generous 30 free spins in which to rack up massive winnings.

Even better, additional spins can be won by finding a further three symbols, making one bet go just so much further. All free spins are played using the selected paylines and bet size of the regular spin that initially triggered them.

Wild

The second of the special symbols is the wild. This symbol will be familiar to most slots players, though in this game, unlike some, the wild does not award prizes.

The wild functions as a substitute, which means that it can be used in place of any game symbol (except for the free spins) as part of a winning combination on an active payline, making it that much easier to make up symbol matches. Any win line that contains three wilds will only pay the highest value.
