When it comes to gameplay, Sword of Khans is no different from other Thunderkick slots. All controls are located below the grid, and you must use them as follows:

How to Win
Players face a grid with 5 reels, 3 rows and 10 ways to win. In order to trigger a prize, they must line up between 3 and 5 winning symbols on a payline in adjacent reels.
The game uses the same total win display as many other slots and will do the maths for you. Remember, only the longest win per payline is paid.

Our man, Genghis Khan, is the highest-paying symbol in the game, with a maximum win multiplier of x250. It is closely followed by a sword (the Wild and Scatter symbol) that will award you with prizes of up to x200 the stake.
Different kinds of weapons and armour are mid-paying icons, each bearing a maximum win multiplier between x30 and x50. 10, J and Q are the least valuable winning symbols. Low-paying royals have a win multiplier of x10 for five symbols on the payline.
Free Spins
Sword of Khans follows the format of book slots, in which one icon is both the Scatter symbol and the Wild icon. In this case, it is the titular sword. Land it three or more times in the base game to launch the free spins bonus.
The game will reward you with a random number of extra spins: 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 or 15 of them. There is no wheel or anything to determine the number of spins, and you’ll see how many you’ve been given right away.
If you see two swords in view during the bonus game, you will retrigger the feature, which is a nice touch to help keep the feature moving along.
Expanding Wins
After you score the free spins bonus, one symbol will be randomly chosen as the expanding symbol. If it is a high-paying symbol, it must land two times to cover the reel. If it is a low-paying symbol, it must drop three times to cover the reel.
The best thing about this feature is that whenever the expanding symbol lands, it will create a winning combo – they don’t even have to be adjacent.
Increasing Multipliers
Multipliers are nothing new to online slots, and Sword of Khans enhances them by letting them grow. However, this is yet another feature that is not available in the base game.
During the Expanding Wins feature, all wins generated with expanding symbols are made bigger thanks to multipliers. An expanding symbol may have a multiplier of up to x3.
