Graphics & Soundtrack

How to Play

Symbols include a zombie bride, three female zombie hunters with guns, four guns, a knife and a box of ammunition. The wild is the bottle of anti-virus, which can substitute other symbols - bar the scatter, bonus and free games symbols - to help generate winning combinations. The scatter is the silver and black radioactive sign, which can appear on reels 1 and 3. The same sign but with bloody red scratch marks through it is the free games symbol, appearing only on reel 5. The bonus is the radioactive sign with bullet holes in it, appearing again on reel 5 only.

The jackpot amounts are to the right, and below the reels is the user interface. Coin size, lines, line bet, total bet and win amount run left to right. To the right side is max bet and the main spin button, along with turbo and autoplay options.

To play, select the coin size from a drop-down list, from 0.05 to 1.00. The 30 paylines are adjustable so you can choose how many to play, from 1 to 30, with the +/- buttons. Finally, select your line bet from 1 to 10, and hit spin.

The top prize in the base game comes from five wilds on a payline, worth up to 500x your wager. In the Bonus Game, up to 150x the bet can be awarded with an anti-virus prize.

Bonus Features

Free Spins: Two scatters and a Free Game Symbol appearing on reels 1, 3 and 5 respectively will trigger six free spins. The Extra Reel Wild Feature is in play for each free spin, but the scatter, bonus and free game symbols won’t appear. The free game and bonus features can’t be triggered during the free spins round.

Extra Reel Wild Feature: This feature is active during the free spins round. For each of your free spins, between one and three reels will randomly become wild. Reel wilds substitute all symbols bar the scatter, bonus and free games symbols.

Bonus: Two scatters and one bonus symbol will trigger the bonus feature when landing on the first, third and fifth reels respectively during the base game. Here, the zombie hunters will make their way through an old warehouse as they track zombies in the hunt for the anti-virus. The more of the undead killed during this round, the greater the cash prize, but you only have three bullets. If no zombie appears, you move to the next round without a prize but without using precious bullets either. There are eight rounds to get you to the Final Bonus Round, where there will be an additional prize if you’re successful in finding the anti-virus. Prizes for zombies can be 5x, 10x or 15x the total wager. Prizes for the anti-virus can be 50x, 100x or 150x the total bet.

Progressive Jackpot: A progressive jackpot that can be triggered randomly ups the ante. A minor, major or mega progressive jackpot could be yours if your luck is in.

Our Verdict

The graphics are good quality and the theme is very solidly built to make this an atmospheric and engaging slot. The tough-looking female hunters may seem a little cheesy, but it’s good fun and we feel the heightened tension with the dark aesthetics and creepy audio. It’s a game of horror and action, and the energy is increased with the varied bonus elements.

The 96.12% RTP is decent and around average for such a slot. High volatility mirrors the bigger prizes on offer, especially with the progressive jackpots. We like the free spins and wilds to boost prizes, and the bonus gives the slot an edge by drawing players into the action.
