Goldaur Guardians is set in a fantasy forest, with all sorts of mystical creatures and characters on the reels. The low-paying symbols are baby fairies while the high-paying symbols are different fantasy heroes. This slot definitely has lovely graphics and the aesthetic really fits with the fantasy theme.  

RTP and Variance

The RTP (return to player) of Goldaur Guardians is 96.36%. It’s also a high volatility slot like the other games in the series. However, its top prize of 1000x is much lower than Book of Oz (5000x) and Break Da Bank (4000x).

How to Win

To hit wins while playing Goldaur Guardians, you just have to land three or more matching symbols on any of the game’s 20 paylines. The most generous symbol in the game is the scatters, which pays out 100x for a five-of-a-kind combo. Next is the wild, providing  a top payout of 50x. The rest of the symbols are much less generous – with the top character symbol paying 9x for a five-of-a-kind win.

Hyperspins is a mechanic that allows you to respin any reel for a cost. Depending on how potentially lucrative spinning that one reel will be, the price changes. In this bonus game, the Hero Trail is activated. The first hero will appear stacked on the first two reels while the last three reels will feature only a giant wild and that hero symbol. Overall Review

Goldaur Guardians from Microgaming and Alchemy Gaming is a fun online slot with fun bonus features and mechanics, but there are some drawbacks. For example, the game’s top prize is quite disappointing for a game with high volatility. The other Hyperspins slots have much larger prizes on offer, so we’d expect to see something similar here.

The free spins round with the hero trail is also interesting but, again, the most on offer is 1000x. This is just a little bit low, and we’d recommend playing the other Hyperspins games if you’re looking for more winning potential.
