How Infinity Reels Work

SG Digital’s Book of Ultimate Infinity Reels is an interesting combination of old and new. The game mixes a pretty standard slot theme with an innovative new gaming mechanic and, when it comes to gameplay, the Infinity Reels are paired up with the classic expanding symbol feature.

Overall, the game does provide a fun gaming experience, but it can be pretty difficult to crack those bigger wins unless you expand the reels pretty far – which is also a big ask from this slot. In our experience, it was pretty rare to get the game to expand beyond 8 reels.

The same can be said for the free spins round. While it offers up some very generous winning potential it’s very hard for you to expand the reels far even to even get close to the Golden Book. It’s a bit of a constant tease which is a bit like if you were playing a regular slot and landed two scatters on every spin.

Once you do make it to the free spins round, the winning potential is pretty huge. So, there’s that to look forward to. You can’t really fault a game with the expanding symbols mechanic, as it’s always a big hit.
