Serpent King is one of the slots found in the Red Tiger selection of games. A scary serpent plays a wild role in the game, and all the action takes place in a jungle setting as players discover gold coins, collect a win multiplier, and hope for a random respin.
The base game opens on a five-reel by four-row grid, and this creates 30 bet ways. There is no scatter symbol nor traditional free spins, but the game has plenty of features to keep players interested.
Gold coins appear on the reels and are collected in a meter to the right of the reels. The aim is to collect enough coins to trigger an upgrade in the serpent wild.

How to Play Serpent King
Let’s see how the controls and windows work in the Serpent King slot.
- Load the game and set a bet using the stake window. The minimum option is 20p.
- Below this window, click on the Pays tab to open a new set of screens.
- The first four describe the features, and then you will see a pay table with a win multiplier for each symbol and thumbnails of the pay lines.

How to Win at Serpent King
The game has 30 fixed bet ways. All symbols pay from left to right on adjacent reels starting from reel one. At least three matching symbols need to appear in this way unless a wild triggers a win. Once all three serpent levels have been unlocked, the meter turns into a sixth reel.
Winning Symbols
The Serpent King slot has eight winning symbols. The chest of gold is the top-value symbol, paying x30 when six land. The wild is not a paying symbol on its own.
Respins
When the wild lands on the reels but no win occurs, it can select a symbol type, lock examples in place and trigger a respin. These continue for as long as new symbols of the chosen type land.
Only win lines consisting of the selected symbol type will be awarded at the end of the feature.
Multiplier Stone
If no win occurs when a wild with a multiplier is in view, the multiplier may be stored in the stone. It will be added to the next wild that lands, even if it has a multiplier.
Serpent Wild Upgrades
Collect gold coins in the progress bar to unlock three levels of the serpent wild as follows:
- 30 gold coins unlock upgrade 1, turning the wild into a 1x4 symbol.
- 60 gold coins unlock upgrade 2, adding a possible random multiplier of x2, x3 or x5.
- 90 gold coins unlock level 3, locking the serpent wild in place. It remains in place until it participates in a win and the win multiplier increases by one for each consecutive win. It unlocks after two consecutive wins. If locked on reel 5, it can move left if it does not create a win.
Once all three levels have been opened, the progress bar turns into a sixth reel on which no card symbols can land.
