Introduction

Divine Links is the first online slot from Lucksome – a slots design studio that based in Malta and owned by Blueprint Gaming. The game pairs a classic theme and format with two fun bonus features and great winning potential – for a fantastic debut from this studio.

Theme and Graphics

Divine Links has a lovely Greek mythology theme, set atop Mount Olympus. Symbols include a goddess who appears to be Aphrodite, hand outstretched to welcome you to the world of the gods, as well as pearls, doves and roses.

Overall, it is a bright and vibrant game with nice graphics – but, nothing too special. We’ve seen the Greek mythology theme before and, sometimes with much more interesting twists.

RTP and Variance

The RTP (return to player) of Divine Links is 95.99%. It’s a little bit lower than we tend to see in online slots nowadays – seeing as most slot payout percentages are in the range of 96% to 96.5%.

It is also a more medium variance slot. According to Lucksome’s own scale, it’s a 5/10. So, you should experience a good combination of larger and smaller payouts more consistently than you would in a highly volatile game.

How to Win

There are 20 paylines in Lucksome’s Divine Links slot. Wins are made by landing 3 or more matching symbols on the same payline.

As a medium volatility slot, the top prize of 8000x is pretty surprising. In games with this level of variance, top prizes usually max out at about 4000x – so, this is definitely a positive point of Divine Links.

Coin Scatters/Wilds

You’ll notice all sorts of coin symbols all over the reels in Divine Links. Each one has a cash value on it, and some of them are wilds.

Lux Reels

When you land six or more coin symbols, you’ll trigger the Lux Reels symbols. The grid will expand to show an additional row, and you’ll enter into a Money Train-style bonus where you collect symbols on the reels.

Free Spins

There is a free spins bonus that you can trigger if you land 2 rose scatter symbols in  the Lux Reels bonus or if them in the base game. There are three volatility levels of this bonus:

• Low: 6 free spins with a guaranteed Lux Reel one regular symbol converted into a money symbol
• Medium: 6 free spins with a guaranteed Lux Reel where one regular symbol is now a money symbol (with slightly higher cash values)
• High: 8 free spins where there are new coins with much higher values

Overall Review

Divine Links from Lucksome may not be the most adventurous game but it has some very interesting features. The combination of Lux Reels and free spins allow you to land bonus wins in different ways, while the coin scatter/wilds give you some decent winning potential during the base game.
